I’m excited to share this week’s IOS-Insight From the Other Side. This one I felt deeply. I hope you do too.
“Oh, dearest ones, you are the way showers. Don’t limit who you are and what you are capable of. Many times, the calling comes later than expected. You have been prepared for this moment, this moment that is ready for your light to shine, to shine brightly.

To live in service and answer your calling, listen to the nudges. It’s time. Trust that you are powerful and have served many by being yourself. Don’t change yourself; own who you are and how powerful you are.
The time for dimming your light is over. You are ready.
Be yourself. Connect to your higher self. Your soul is calling you to see who you really are. To remember all you are. Listen to the nudges, listen to where your heart wants to go, and follow with Joy and Love.
You are a remarkable being that is here right now for a reason.

How often we forget this. We are so wrapped up in trying to do the right thing, be the right person, fit into societal demands, not be too big or too small, stand up straight but not stick out, etc.
We try to check all the boxes, and one day, we wake up and find we didn’t even like the boxes we checked. We find ourselves accomplished, successful, dissatisfied, and unfulfilled because, in the process, we have lost ourselves trying to “fit in” to everyone else’s expectations.
We have begun to hear the whispers and nudges of something else calling. We feel a pull towards something else, something more that we just can’t put our finger on.
That unsettledness, dissatisfaction, leading to the nudges and whispers, is real. You are uncomfortable because you can no longer fit into the suit that is not truly yours.
It’s time to break free and put on that designer suit that is uniquely you. All that you are is perfect, worthy, whole, and beautiful.
I know this!
I was there when the dissatisfaction came, the nudges knocked, and the whispers got a whole lot louder. I was fighting and doubting myself. Going between, “You’ve got this; you’re a rock star,” and “Who do you think you are?”
My family and I were on vacation, and I was really wrestling with all of this. My husband took the kids on a walk down the beach, and I stayed behind and sat on a log looking out over the ocean. I watched the tide coming in and out among these huge, beautiful monoliths. The sun was hitting the water and making it glisten. I could hear the birds and it was so beautiful. “I thought how amazing nature is. How beautiful with every creature taken care of. How amazing God’s creation was.”
As I thought this, I heard a loud voice behind me say, “You can only be the perfection from which you come.” It startled me, and I jumped up and looked around to see who said that. There wasn’t a single person in sight.

It’s time to answer your calling, lean into the nudges and whispers. There is only one of you! This beautiful, unique human being that is so gifted and loved and equipped with exactly what you need to fulfill why you are here at this time.
