My earliest memory was when I was just 4 years old. I vividly remember getting into the car after school one day, and my mom was in tears. When I asked why she was crying, she said, “Every time I pick you up from school, you’re always playing alone.” I was confused, because I had just been catching grasshoppers and swinging with a group of kids—many of whom were in spirit form.
That’s when I began to realize that others couldn’t see what I could. Over time, I came to believe that my gift wasn’t a good thing, and I blocked it for many years. But eventually, I couldn’t keep it shut down anymore. It was time to embrace my gifts fully and step into who I truly am.
