I’m seeing a lot go around again about manifestation and abundance. The law of attraction is a hot topic again. In 2006, when the video and book “The Secret” came out, it introduced the Law of Attraction to a wider audience. The simplest Law of Attraction definition is “a powerful universal law which states that you attract into your life the very essence of whatever it is that you focus on, be it positive or negative”.
When most people talk about creating abundance, the law of attraction is usually part of the teachings or discussion. There are many opinions about this book. I love that it introduced the Law of Attraction to a wider audience, but I also feel it is incomplete. It is just the beginning.
There are 6 other laws that are very important to manifesting abundance in your life. On top of the 7 Laws, I have found 7 steps to put them into practice. Over the next 7 blogs, I will be sharing the 7 Laws with you.
The Laws and principles are universal. They are not my laws. I have just put them together in a way which I can better understand and apply them. My hope is you will find the same.
I think we are in a time that the more abundance and positive mindset we can achieve, the more it will greatly benefit us all!
So, let’s get started with the first Law. We have one overriding law, The Law of Energy. It has been proven that 99.999999% of everything is energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Under this law, we have 7 interdependent laws and principles. They are working all the time. These laws effect every part of our lives. They are not positive or negative. They just are. They can impact you either positively or negatively, depending on how aware you are about them and how you use them.
The first of 7 Laws under the Law of Energy is The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy. This law states that energy is always moving in and out of form. Everything in our universe that we can see, smell, taste, hear, and feel is in constant change. The bottom line is change is all that there is.
When you resist change, you are taking yourself out of alignment and flow. Let me explain. Alignment is when YOU – mind, body, and spirit are aligned with what you are creating in your life. When you are in alignment, you create flow. The point where there becomes an ease to what you are creating or accomplishing. I know you have experienced this at some point in your life. Have you had a time in your life when you really wanted something, but did not know how it was going to happen? You were so focused on it, that things just seemed to fall in place that helped you make it happen. The right people, situations, resources, information, etc. just showed up. This is Flow.
Have you ever heard the saying “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results?” I bet you have but the thing is, we all do it because so many of us resist change. If you are trying to accomplish something you have never had before in your life, then something has to change. If you want more abundance in your life than you currently have, then you are going to have to change something. If you want something different, you will have to do something different. This will require a new becoming and new action.
“In times of change, the learners will inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.” ~ Eric Hoffer
Change can be scary and may bring up a lot of fear for you. Change can be uncertain. You, I, and almost everyone I know find uncertainty uncomfortable. But, what if you looked at it a little differently? What if you took a curious approach to it? What if you turned your fear into excitement and got curious as to what could happen? What will you learn? What if this change, changes your life forever for the better? I can tell you from experience this can happen!
Embrace change with curiosity and an expectation of something new that may very well be better than your current status quo.
Here are three steps to get you started in embracing change and the Law of Perpetual Transmutation of energy:
- Ask yourself, “Who do I need to become in order to create more abundance in my life?” This is an important question because if you remain the same, you will get the same. If you grow and expand your perspective, then you expand your capacity to create something new. If you want more abundance in your life, what is the becoming? Some examples might be becoming mindful, positive, flexible, confident, etc.
- Take new action. What action have you not taken that you know if you did it, could dramatically change the ability for you to create abundance in your life? Think about it. We usually know what new action would be important to take. If you don’t, then start with one new bold action every day. I actually have this written on a sticky note next to my computer to remind myself to be bold and take one new powerful action every day. You will be amazed at what can happen just by taking this small action every day.
- Turn your fear into excitement. This is a shift in perspective. Physiologically what happens in the body when you feel fear, is the same as when you feel excitement. Do you perceive these sensations as fear or excitement? Perceiving them as excitement can really impact your ability to move forward creating abundance with much more ease. One way to help you move from perceiving your feelings and the sensations you feel as excitement, is to get into curiosity. Curiosity is one of my favorite tools. What might happen, who could you meet, what new thing will you learn, etc.
Give these steps a try. Just see how doing these 3 steps and getting into alignment with The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy and embracing change begins to impact your life. My bet is that you will be pleasantly surprised. Embrace change and get into flow and find your rhythm.
