How are you doing with creating Ease, Grace and Flow in your life? This has been my intention since the first of the year. To create Ease, Grace and Flow in my life, and support others in creating it in theirs. Have you found it? And if you have, are you maintaining it? If you answered yes to both, then congratulations!! You, my friend, are well on your way. Unfortunately, most of us find ourselves in a state of ease, grace, and flow, but have a bit of trouble maintaining it. You are in flow, and then out of nowhere you get triggered, and you are no longer
Oftentimes, this is because you have not recognized your truth in a situation. When you are in a state of ease, grace, and flow, you are living in your truth, recognizing your truth and trusting it. There is a distinction between truth and trust that is a very important part of creating ease, grace, and flow in your life.
Your truth is what you know. What you know about your life, relationships, business, etc. Every person’s truth is going to be a little different because we are all different. It’s not what you think; it’s more than that. It’s a knowing, a feeling in the body, instinct, intuition, something you can’t always explain but you know it. Trust, is knowing your truth, recognizing your truth, and trusting it to be right. Trusting that you are fully supported physically and spiritually. This is essential for sustaining the state of ease, grace, and flow. It is when you know your truth and don’t trust it or you ignore it that you get into trouble. This is the point you get knocked out of ease, grace, and flow.
Let me give you an example from one of my many learning experiences. When I was 18 I met my first real boyfriend. I thought I was so in love. I thought what an amazing person he was. He was there for me. During our 14-year relationship there were many times that I ignored my truth about him. What I knew about him. I felt it but didn’t trust the knowing and flat out ignored it. I didn’t want to believe my truth so I stuffed it over and over again. We got married, even though as I was walking down the aisle my truth was screaming NO. I ignored it again and again. Until one day at one of the lowest moments of my life the postman delivered a letter. The letter was addressed to Tim and Kathy. It took a second but I began to feel the sting of the two by four I was being hit with. You know the one that comes when you continue to ignore what is really going on. It was a thank you letter. Thanking Tim and Kathy for staying at a bed in breakfast in Colorado. What?!?!?! Yep, a two by four wake up. At that moment, I could no longer ignore my truth. At that moment, I recognized my truth and trusted that no matter what I was fully supported. This was on a Friday. By Monday, I had sold my house, purchased a new one and filed for divorce. Everything lined up so beautifully like it was just waiting for me to get a clue. I found myself in a total state of ease, grace
This is an extreme example but I believe it paints a pretty clear picture. Sometimes, it’s something small that you ignore. Even something small can move you out of ease, grace, and flow. It is when we are intentionally listening to ourselves, our truth. Recognizing our truth even if we don’t like it and trusting it that we can remain in a state of ease, grace, and flow. When I get a little thrown out of ease, grace, and flow I always come back to this. Sometimes, I can get back in quickly and other times it takes me a little longer. Be okay with that. This is a human journey you are on, and everything you go through matters. It creates the person you are today.
There are some sticky areas of your truth where you may be getting triggered. One main one is your complete worthiness because you are you and you are here. The truth that you are good enough, you are loved, you are smart enough, you are talented enough, you are capable, you have what it takes to fulfill your dreams.
Truth: You are Worthy and Enough. Recognize it and trust it.
Sitting on a log in Cannon beach several years ago, I was looking out at the ocean admiring the beauty and perfection of it. All that God created. I heard a voice say to me, “You can only be the perfection from which you come”. When I turned around no one was there.
Even in your imperfection you are perfect. Truth!
