Welcome back! We are in the home stretch now for creating support for success in your life and business. How’s it going? We have covered 6 out of 9 areas that make up your environmental design.
I’ll bet you have had a few AH-HA moments. I know when I first did this, I had a bunch. The relationship area was the biggest ah-ha moment for me.
I realized when looking at this area and answering the 5 questions, that I was completely missing an inner circle of friends. Those friends that completely support you but tell you the truth. You can call them at 2:00am, and they are there for you.
When I realized this, I had to really look at why I was keeping people at a distance. This took a little inner work, but then I set out to create an inner circle. I found there were just a few, but they were already there. I just had to open up and let them in. It made a huge difference for me.

This last year, I spent most the year working on my network area. This area has grown leaps and bounds with amazing people I get to work with and spend time with. The best part is that many of the people in my network environment have become really close and important people in my life. These people are benefiting my relationship area. Bonus!!
Now in case you missed the first 6 areas in your environmental design here are the links to Part 1 and Part 2, where I go over the first 6. These don’t have to be done in any order.
Ok, let’s get started creating the final three areas:
7. The Body Area: This area involves movement, strength, health, vitality, radiance, appearance, and image. When you are answering the following 5 questions, keep all of these categories in mind. You may even want to answer the 5 questions for each category.
- How do you feel about the different categories in this area? Do you feel confident, full of vitality, healthy, etc.? Be honest here. No one has to see this. This is a really important area.
- What are some of your assets in this area?
- What are you tolerating in this area? Have you gotten a little too comfortable in your clothing, eating habits, exercise, etc.?
- What can you do to zap these tolerations? Get a plan together to zap one at a time and feel your energy and confidence soar.
- Is there anything missing in the area? If there is, what can you do to bring these missing pieces into this area?
8. The Self Area: This area is about personal expression. Expression of your talents values and character. Are you holding back or are you fully expressed? Most of us land somewhere in the middle. Answer the next 5 questions to see where you can support yourself in being fully expressed.
- How do you feel in the area of self? Are you free to be who you are, or do you feel like you have to live up to a certain image? Be on all the time, etc.
- What are some of the assets you have in this area?
- What are you tolerating in this area? This is a revealing question. Don’t rush this one. Give it some thought.
- What can you do to zap these tolerations? Get a step-by-step plan together. It doesn’t all have to happen at the same time.
- Is there anything missing in this area?
9. The Spiritual Area: This area involves your connection to something bigger than yourself. This may be specific practices, your feeling of oneness, sacred spaces, important ceremonies, etc.
- What is the feeling around this area?
- What are some of the assets you have in this area? What is working really well for you?
- What are you tolerating in this area?
- What can you do to zap these tolerations? Make a plan and implement it.
- Is there anything missing in your spiritual environment? How to bring in what’s missing?
PHEW! Congratulations. Going through these 9 areas and really looking at them takes time and effort. If you didn’t have time to get them all done, print them out, and go through them at your own pace.
You will find that creating 9 supportive areas in your environmental design will support you in what you want to create this year. This will help you stay in alignment and get in the flow with what you are creating and achieving.
It will surprise you the difference it makes.
I would love you to comment and let me know how this went for you. What did you learn, what did you add or let go of? Please ask any questions you may have.
Here’s to your best year yet!
