Vulnerability – How To Embrace It

Mindset, Success

Do you ever feel invisible? I know that I’ve made being invisible an art form. Hiding from actually stepping into all that I can be and what I can accomplish.  Thinking of yourself as that powerful can be really scary. Ever felt like that?  Like you know you were meant to do so much more than what you are currently doing.

It’s time to wake that sleeping Giant within you! The sleeping Giant exists for all of us whether we are aware of her or not. She is waiting for you to say, “YES”.

To Say Yes to Yourself, Your Business, and to New Customers and Clients

Saying yes to yourself starts with owning what you know. Trusting that all is well.  You’re in the right place. Timing is everything, and all you need to do is keep moving forward, and master your craft. The right people will show up at the right time.  It may not always look like you think it will, so pay attention.

Say yes to your business.  Be willing to step out to the edge of your comfort zone, and embrace the fear. Fear will always be there, but you can walk alongside fear, embrace fear, and let the fear know you won’t be making any decisions with fear today. Say yes, and give yourself permission to build your business your way, with your strengths in the spotlight. Be willing to say yes to success with no apologies, however that looks for you.

Say yes to new clients and customers. Know your tribe inside and out. What are their challenges? What are their needs? What do they really want? Know how your business is a solution to these things. Challenge + Solution = New Clients and Customers.

In order to say YES to all of this, you have to be seen. Yes, being seen can make you feel vulnerable. I get it. Vulnerability is not an easy one for me. You feel exposed, afraid to be judged or ridiculed, and rejected. Being vulnerable can make you doubt yourself. Am I good enough? Do I know enough? Who am I to think I can really be this powerful and successful?

I know these questions well because I have often asked myself them.

Waking the Giant within, can be extremely vulnerable and scary.  It brings up some powerful “what if” questions.  What if I fail? What if I can’t do this? What if I succeed?

What if …

We never know until we are willing to say YES to our Giant, step up and be seen and be beautifully vulnerable. Here is what I have come to learn about vulnerability:

“Vulnerability is not opening up to be hurt but opening up to receive.”

Being vulnerable means saying yes to receive connection, recognition, acceptance, love, success, community, and much much more. Being seen is being vulnerable but being vulnerable is the key to really being seen.

Vulnerability and Your Comfort Zone

I don’t think there is a day that goes by that there isn’t something that scares me in my business. Sitting at the edge of your comfort zone will require it. Vulnerability will require it.

Be brave, courageous, and bold. Be seen and be vulnerable. Be willing to say, “YES” to you, your business, and new clients and customers. What you do and your voice matters!

Go out and share it.

Your people are waiting for you …
