Well trust is up right now! Trust in yourself, trust in what you know, trust you can and trust the universe.
I’m seeing this in my clients, others I talk to, and myself. I was having coffee this morning with a friend of mine going over some Human Design Charts and trust was a theme that keep coming up.
What is it to trust yourself? For me it’s really about loving yourself and honoring yourself. Knowing that you are doing the very best you can, in any moment with were you are at. Knowing that you are capable and most of all worthy. Trusting what you know. When fear, doubt, anger, and frustration come in, love yourself through it without self-judgment. Know and trust that all is perfect.
When we fall in love with ourselves everyday and honor all that we are it’s much easier to trust ourselves. Boundaries become easily established because they are right for us, not because we are putting them up to protect ourselves.
When I first came up with the idea to create the “Dialing For Dollars” program I was super excited about the prospect of how it could help a wide range of people really define their unique sales process and be more comfortable selling and therefore have more success.
I thought this is a great idea but had no idea if it would actually work….
I decided to go for it. Jumped in with both feet. Started getting the foundational systems set up for where I wanted to be. Then the fear and doubt started to creep in. I started questioning if I could actually pull it off. Can I learn and get all the technology together and working. What if… You know the talk.
After a couple of weeks of the initial spin/craziness I decided to stop the madness. I had this. I could stay in doubt and fear or I could get what I know out into the world and help others be successful in sales. After all, I had 26 years experience in sales and leadership.
This is what I learned:
1. Trust what you know. We take for granted what we know. We think everyone must already know this… But, you will be surprised most people haven’t spent the time and effort studying, researching and living what you know. What comes easy for you doesn’t mean it comes easy for everyone. It’s in your sweet spot – it’s your super power.
2. Trust that the how will show up. You don’t need to know the how. You want to know the “what and the why”. Then the how will show up. The right systems, people, ideas, etc. will show up. Your job is to just be aware of what shows up around you. It may not always look like you expect it to. Once I committed to creating “Dialing for Dollars” one by one all the right systems, people and ideas showed up including the right people for the program.
3. Trust that you are worthy. Mary Kay used to say, “if you have a dream in your heart you have already been given the ability to achieve that dream or you wouldn’t be able to dream it”. Here is what I know for sure. You are worthy because you were born. You would never hold a beautiful brand new baby and say “oh, your so beautiful but so unworthy”. Never would you say that. The feelings of unworthiness are conditioned. It’s simply untrue. You are worthy! Trust that!
When you trust yourself you are then able to play big in your life, take risk, and create something amazing. Your good work will get out into the world and touch the people that are here for you to touch. You will have success, you’ll contribute and you’ll have an impact.
It all starts with honoring yourself enough to trust yourself. YOU GOT THIS!
